Safe healthy weight loss

Introduction

I would like to lose 35 lbs. I intend to lose 35 lbs. I am going to make a point of losing 35 lbs and I am going to do it very slowly so that I can keep the weight off. For however long it is going to take me I am going to keep writing my experiences down on this site so that I can relate to you the reader how I achieved my weight loss.

To begin, a couple of weeks ago I quit drinking coffee and tea. I knew that if I tried this now, it would be too hard. As of today, I have stopped eating any extra calories meaning I will be avoiding all refined sugars, all fatty snacks and anything that is concentrated calories. I am also going to add 30 minutes of exercise to my day, everyday. Some days I might do it in smaller chunks but I have to do 30 minutes of exercise each and every day before I go to sleep on that day. This is how I am going to lose 45 lbs.

During this weight loss I am also going to spend some time cleansing different parts of my body. After I ween myself off of sugar over the next couple of weeks, I will begin to return my natural flora to a more healthy state by cleansing my intestinal tract. After that I will cleanse my other internal organs using a special cleanse I will describe later.

So, here it goes, I am going to lose 45 lbs, one day at a time. The whole thing starts now.

How I am going to lose Weight

Starting January 1st 2010, half way through my 37th year, I am going to start on a path to better health and weight loss. The goal is simple, to weigh in at 210 lbs and to do it by my 38th birthday in the summer. The first thing I am going to concentrate on is changing my diet. The following is what I am proposing to do to help lose the weight:

  1. 30 minutes of cardio exercise per day
  2. Many small meals rather than a few large ones
  3. No more fat and sugar replaced by protein and complex carbohydrates
  4. Protein shake high in fibre for breakfast and before bed
  5. Simply eat less calories than I burn
